A new mobile community service, Hub2U, has been launched to bring vital resources and support directly to families across Cumberland. The initiative ensures that people in neighbourhoods, schools, and rural areas have easier access to council services, wellbeing programs, and family support.
This project is made possible through a collaborative effort between Cumberland Council, Sellafield Ltd, Stagecoach, and Copeland Community Fund, ensuring that local needs are met efficiently and effectively.
What Is Hub2U?
Hub2U is a mobile service that takes Cumberland Council’s resources directly to communities, making essential support more accessible. The project was officially launched at a family fun day at Whitehaven Harbour, attended by key stakeholders, including:
